VIRTUE MASS and FAMILY GATHERING - PATIENCE


Third grade and sixth grade highlighted the virtue of patience at our virtue Mass and the parent gathering that followed.

School Year 2014-15

Class meeting/circle time in 3S on a Monday morning.

3D looked at pictures showing different facial expressions. They picked out the faces that were expressing emotions, but still using self-control.

Waiting for our 6th grade partners to meet us for Mass.

3S met to talk about the qualities of being a friend, and the virtue of courage.

Mondays begin with a class meeting. Sometimes we write in our kindness journals, sometimes we do projects by ourselves, and sometimes we meet with our 6th grade partners.

2013-14 School Year

Third graders (3S) show the virtues of friendship, sharing, teamwork, and responsibility during inside recess.








Third graders (3D) show the virtue of gratitude. They made thank you cards to give to the people who have volunteered at SMMA during the past year.

Third graders joined in holding signs at arrival inviting parents to come to Parking Lot Prayer at dismissal.

And then, 3rd grade and 6th grade led Parking Lot Prayer.

Third grade tells us that there is no forgiveness without love.
